Profile

Phil was admitted in 1993 and recently became a Partner. Acclaimed by his peers in Chambers & Partners as "Exactly what you would expect from a good Solicitor - he is exceptionally hardworking", he was also praised for his "effectiveness" by The Legal 500.

The wide ranging porfolio of serious and high profile cases successfully defended by Phil includes complex money laundering and serious fraud, all forms of murder including 'gang-land' and serial killing, drugs offences ranging from simple possession to major trafficking, and serious sexual offences.

Instructed to represent City Professionals, fellow members of the Legal Profession (Solicitors and The Bar), Diplomats, Medical Consultants and high profile individuals arrested for driving offences, and retained by leading UK Financial Institutions and Private Companies whose Directors/employees face criminal investigation.

Recently acted for a Society Heir and Heiress arrested over drugs allegations. Secured a recent notable acquittal by exposing a police cover-up of the bugging of key Prosecution witnesses in a Murder case.

Appointed as a Supervisor for Serious Fraud Panel Work by the Legal Services Commission since 2000. Phil has appeared as an expert contributor on the BBC and Middle Eastern Broadcasting (MBC).
